The vineyards managed by S. A. Prüm are exclusively planted with Riesling in the best vineyards of the steep slopes along the middle mosel.
WEHLEN Wehlener Sonnenuhr
These vines are situated on a south-southwest slope of the Moselle. The shoots prosper on skew decomposition grounds, called also Devon slate. The sundial which now gives the name to the location was built in 1842 by Jodocus Prüm and originally served to tell the time. However at the turn of the 19th century the´Sonnenuhr´title replaced the former name "Lammerterlay". In 1954 the original 8 hectare sundial site was extended to 40 hectares and today we have vineyards at the original core of the site as well as within the larger areas around the sundial.
GRAACH
The municipality of Graach was in the past the largest wine-growing village of the Moselle and until the Napoleon time 25% of the vineyards were originally owned by the church. The exposition of the steep vineyards lies after southwest; the ground is a middle to profound of stony, freshly weather-beaten sound slates.
Himmelreich
This site has the lovely title:´Kingdom of Heaven´ and is distinguished by the dramatic elevation of the sharply elevated, south-west oriented slopes.
Domprobst
The name refers to the fact that one third of the Graacher vineyards were entitled to the provost of Trier. The site is located at the heart of Graacher Himmelreich. The vineyard is between 130 and 260 metres above sea level with 50 to 60% slope inclination on stony sound slate decomposition ground.
BERNKASTEL
Sites like Lay, Graben, Matheisbildchen, Johannisbrünnchen and Schlossberg belong to the Bernkastel region, with a west-southwest situation on stony sound skew grounds.
