Celebrations and Conferences

Historical Event Hall
The historical granary is over 100 years old. In the old days, the grain harvest was stored here and equipment and feed for the livestock were kept under the beams. Today, the more than 200 square meters under the attic are a popular place for our Jungweinprobe event, culinary experiences and a playground for many other wonderful celebrations. Even Hugh Johnson, one of the most respected wine critics in the world, has enjoyed a Riesling here.

Our event hall, with its very special atmosphere, offers an attractive setting for birthdays, company anniversaries, baptisms or even seminars. Wedding celebrations are only possible if all eight suites and three holiday apartments are booked at the same time.

The old wine press house storage facility offers space for about 100 guests.

Of course, we will help you choose a caterer and answer any other questions you may have about your event. We will be happy to help you put together the perfect wine selection during a wine tasting.

In addition, our spacious courtyard with fountain and seating is also at your disposal, ideal as a first meeting point for a champagne reception or as a quiet retreat.

Since summer 2024, outdoor weddings can take place in our romantic pavilion in the garden.

Further facilities include a professionally equipped kitchen and our “Schwalbenflug”, or swallow’s house is enough space for smaller events for up to 20 guests.

We would be happy to show you our premises and make you a suitable offer.

Pavillion

Did you know?

A special feature of the winery from the 1920s is the granary, which was constructed in the rare Zollinger style.

A Zollinger roof is a self-supporting roof construction based on a system in which similar, prefabricated individual elements are assembled in a diamond shape to form a rod network structure. The construction system was developed by the Merseburg city architect Friedrich Zollinger at the beginning of the 20th century and is also known under the term Zoll-Building-Method or Zoll-Lamellen-Building-Method.

We would be happy to show you this unique construction during a visit to our winery.
