Explore our scenery by bicycle, along well-developed cycle tracks along the Moselle. Maar Moselle cycle track leads you from Daun in the Eifel to Bernkastel. The Regio Radler can bring you after registration to the starting point and you can master the distance comfortably in a day tour.


Numerous footpaths course through the Moselle valley and lead to many side routes. From the Moselle path ways you will be able to enjoy a marvellous view of the vineyards. In 2014 a new attraction opened. Enjoy the Moselsteig which will be the highlight for wonderful hikingtours along the mosel. If you prefer something a little more sporty, we suggest Calmont-climbing steep path and Erdener Treppchen/Prälat climbing path, experience yourselves the steepest slopes of the Moselle!

Our guesthouse is located at the river bank with a wonderfull view to the world famous vineyards of the Wehlener Sonnenuhr in the little village of Wehlen. The vineyard roads are open for public for a walk.

Only a few kilometers away you can reach in walking distance Bernkastel over a little pathway directly along the river bank. There you can enjoy the middle age market place and the unique atmosphere of one of the most famous cities at the mosel.

On the other side of the River you find Kues, the other half of Bernkaste. If you are a lover of Oldtimer the Zylinderhaus is worth a visit!

If you would like to spend some time in town: Trier with its unique Roman buildings is always perfect for a visit. From the world cultural heritage Porta Nigra to the amphitheatre there are plenty opportunities for wandering. Towns like Bernkastel and Traben-Trarbach provide the special charm of the Moselle villages. If you want to experience a little bit of French atmosphere Luxembourg is always worth a visit

Of course the area also offers variety for family vacations with children: Eifelpark Gondorf, thermal bath Traben-Trarbach or also Cascade in Bitburg are exactly right for children.
